You envisage sitting next to locals on buses, wandering through marketplaces, trying local restaurants and generally exploring the area. You might have travelled independently in the past but a tour in Latin America appeals to you because you may not be fluent in the local language and want to learn more about the destination. You don't want to spend much time in your hotels but you want to stay somewhere clean, comfortable and centrally located so you can go off and do your own thing. Budget Expeditions are designed for young adventure travellers between the ages of 18 to 35 who want to explore South America on a budget with other young, fun and like-minded people. Instead of including all of your options and excursions in the tour price, we give you the freedom to decide what you would like to do while you're on tour, so YOU choose how to spend your money along the way!
Group & Leaders - 15-25 travellers, max 34; Tucan Tour Leader & Tucan Driver
Accommodation - Mostly camping in campsites and out in the wild under the stars, inexpensive hotels, hostels and guesthouses on share basis.
Transport - Powerful Mercedes Benz vehicles with custom built coach bodies which are strong, versatile and of the highest quality
Age Group - Recommended 18-35 only
Included Meals - Meals while camping and lunches on travelling days

You enjoy travelling on a reliable, comfortable private vehicle with other like-minded travellers from all around the world. You like that in the morning, the same vehicle that dropped you off the night before is waiting to pick you up outside your hotel with your extra luggage stored safely on board. You enjoy mingling with a lot of other people and you're excited about the fact that dinner is at your leisure, because you can choose where you want to go and who to go with. Maybe you are also a little safety conscious when you travel and like to have certain comforts, such as tried and tested accommodation.

Accommodation - Small, secure centrally located hotels and guest houses, some jungle lodges and family stays
