BRIEF ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrive Johannesburg: Arrive in Johannesburg at any time.
Day 2 Blyde River Canyon (B,L,D): Head east towards Mpumalanga through a landscape characterized by mountains, panoramic passes, valleys, rivers, waterfalls and forests. Camp the night in Blyde River Canyon.
Day 3-4 Kruger National Park (2B,2L,2D): Big game country - exciting game drives offer excellent wildlife viewing. Spot lion, elephant, rhino and other animals in one of the last African wildernesses.
Day 5 Marracuene (B,L,D): The journey continues to Mozambique with a stop in Marracuene - a popular resting stop for people traveling through southern Mozambique.
Day 6-7 Inhambane (2B, 2L, 2D): The journey continues to Mozambique. Pass through the Old European settlement of Inhambane, still haunted by memories of the old slave trade along the coast.
Day 8-9 Maputo (2B,L): Continue further south to the capital, Maputo. Discover this fascinating city and enjoy the definitive Latin flare.
Day 10-11 Kingdom of Swaziland (2B,2L,2D): Journey to Swaziland where you have the opportunity to go horse riding, mountain biking, trailing, game viewing or visiting a Swazi Village.
Day 12-13 Zululand (2B,2L,2D): Today, re-enter South Africa and travel to St Lucia on the coast. Visit the Umfolozi Game Reserve which is a safe haven for both the white and black rhino and also contains the rest of the "Big 5".
Day 14 Durban (B,L): Relax on the sandy beaches and swim in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
