BRIEF ITINERARY

Day 1 Arrive Rome: Arrive in Rome at any time.

Day 2 Siena: Siena is one of Italy's best preserved medieval towns. Wander the streets and enjoy the many treasures of its Romanesque and Gothic architecture.

Day 3-4 Florence: Explore the Tuscan capital that inspired the fathers of Italian Art - Cimabue and Giotto. It is the birthplace of the Italian language (Dante Aliguieri) and the Italian Renaissance.

Day 5 Lucca: Spend the day in this beautiful little Tuscan town.

Day 6-7 Cinque Terre: Five little villages are built into the rocks between the beach and the hills. Hike, swim, drink wine, and watch amazing Mediterranean sunsets. Follow the centuries old footpaths and mule tracks that lead through olive groves, vineyards, orchards and chestnut woods.

Day 8 Asti: Asti is the capital of the province of the same name. Discover the wineries and have fun sampling the vintages, making sure to taste the sparkling Asti Spumante, the region's specialty.

Day 9-10 Como: Explore Bellagio, a charming lake town that is often described as the "most beautiful in all of Europe."

Day 11-12 Venice: Venice is one of the few cities in the world that can be truly described as unique. Over an extra-ordinarily long period, the city was embellished with monuments of rare splendour that today make it a town like none other in the entire world.
