Experience the wonderful wildlife of the Galapagos on our 16 passenger, air-conditioned 65-foot motor vessel, the G.A.P Adventurer III. Cabins have upper and lower berths, private bathrooms and outside views (window or porthole). The crew of 8 includes a bilingual Level III naturalist, the highest level in the Galapagos. IF YOUR TOUR STARTS ON A MONDAY PLEASE FOLLOW THE BELOW ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrive Quito: Arrive in Quito at any time.
Day 2 Puerto Ayora (L,D): Early flight to Baltra, in the Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival we will be transferred by ferry and bus to Puerto Ayora where we meet our naturalist guide and visit the Charles Darwin Research Station. Here we have the chance to view some of the giant sea turtles and learn more about Darwin's work.
Day 3 North Seymour (B,L,D): Today we will visit Cerro Dragon setting of two lagoons that are at times home to flamingos and land iguanas. From there we will travel to Guy Fawkes Island before heading to Seymour Island in the late afternoon. Our first landing shows us the great bird life of the island, including magnificent frigate birds, blue-footed boobies and swallow-tailed gulls. We may also catch a glimpse of sea lions and several species of endemic plants.
Day 4 Bartolomé (B,L,D): Arrive at Bartolomé Island early in the morning. Disembark for a short hike and enjoy the pure air and awesome views of San Salvador Island. Learn about the geological history of Bartolomé, as our naturalist explains its dramatic volcanic features, including unusual splatter cones. Sometimes it is possible to spot rare Galapagos penguins, of which only 800 pairs exist.
Day 5 Baltra/South Plaza (B,L,D): Arrive at Baltra to say good-bye to some friends and hello to others. In the afternoon we cruise to South Plaza, a narrow islet which is home to a large colony of sea lions, land iguanas as well as many species of land and sea birds.
Day 6 Floreana (B,L,D): Reach Floreana Island in the morning and stop at Post Office Bay. This is a historic site still in use today, where mariners would deposit and collect letters from the “post office barrel.”
Day 7 Española (B,L,D): We make our way to Punta Suarez on Española Island. The southernmost island in the Galapagos archipelago is home to several wildlife species, including masked and blue-footed boobies.
Day 8 Santa Fé (B,L,D): Reach Santa Fé Island, home to a giant cactus forest. Learn from our naturalist how mangroves survive in its harsh environment, and study the features and habits of prehistoric-looking marine iguanas. In the afternoon visit Plaza Sur - home of a colony of sea lion bachelors.
Day 9 Santa Cruz (B): Today we arrive back to Santa Cruz. Transfer to the airport on Baltra Island for our flight to Quito. Transfer to our hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy one last night on the town.
Day 10 Depart Quito

Upon arrival in Baltra, we will meet our naturalist guide, who will assist with the transfer to the G.A.P Adventurer III. In the afternoon we cruise to South Plaza, a narrow islet which is home to a large colony of sea lions, land iguanas as well as many species of land and sea birds.

Day 4 Española (B, L, D): We sail to Punta Suarez, on Española Island. Between April and December the waved albatross, a rare bird endemic to Española, can often be spotted. Optional hike to the top of a cliff for spectacular views and photos.
Day 5 Santa Fé (B, L, D): Set sail and reach Santa Fé Island early in the morning. Learn from our naturalist how mangroves survive in its harsh environment, and study the features and habits of prehistoric-looking marine iguanas, this little island’s own sub-species.
Day 6 Santa Cruz (B, L, D): The morning we visit the highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Visit the Charles Darwin Station, see giant tortoises and learn about Charles Darwin’s studies of Galapagos wildlife. Free time to do some shopping and exploring.
