BRIEF ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrive Bangkok: Arrive in Bangkok at any time.
Days 2-4 Chiang Mai (3B,L,D): Discover some of the secrets of Thai cuisine by joining a cooking course. Explore Chiang Mai by bike, pausing at your leisure to discover gilded Buddhist temples, temple ruins and vibrant local markets. Get up close and personal with friendly elephants or enjoy a traditional Thai massage.
Day 5 Sukhothai (1B): Explore the remains of the ancient royal realm, now one of Thailand's World Heritage sites and marvel at the evocative religious art and architecture of the classic Sukhothai era.
Day 6-7 Kanchanaburi (2B): Gain an insight into the lives of allied POWs during the war through a sobering trip to the JEATH War Museum and the infamous "Bridge on the River Kwai".
Day 8 Bangkok (B,D): Return to Bangkok for a day of exploring glittering temples, vibrant markets, and the slow pace of life along the Chao Phraya river.
Day 9-10 Penang (1B): Fly to the famous island of Penang with its beautiful colonial buildings and wonderfully atmospheric Chinatown and Indian quarter.
Day 11-12 Kuala Lumpur (1B): Malaysia's vibrant capital is buzzing with activity. The immense Petronas Towers, the Batu Caves, and the famous night market make KL a favourite among travellers.
Day 13 Melaka (1B,1L): The historic Portuguese trading port of Melaka features lovingly restored old buildings hosting cafes and restaurants as well as an excellent historical park to explore.
Day 14 Singapore (1B): Home of Raffles Hotel, Sentosa Island and of course curried crab, Singapore is a wonderful modern city mixed with more traditional corners just waiting to be explored.
Day 15 Depart Singapore: You are free to depart at any time today.
